On the Making of the Movie (Adrianne Jones)

Adrianne Jones’ mother Linda Jones said that the reminders of her daughter’s death are very painful for her to relieve. Especially when she looks over at the tree that was planted in her honor. She tries not to visit the school campus very often. Her father Bill Jones is still very angry about it. He feels that no one is really interested in her, but that she has become sort of a name of victim so to speak. Her killers David Graham and Diane Zamora got more attention than the victim.

Tidbits
After her death the offers were coming in for tv shows and movie production companies. They were ruthless in their treatment of the case. The Joneses were offered hundreds of thousands of dollars for the rights to their story, but they turned down the offers. The movie was made without their permission.
